Notes on D-branes of Type IIB String on AdS_5 x S^5
We promote a study of D-branes of type IIB string on the AdS_5 x S^5
background. The possible D-branes preserving half of supersymmetries were
classified up to and including the fourth order of fermionic variable \th in
our previous work [hep-th/0310228]. In this paper we show that our
classification is still valid even at the full order of \th. This proof
supplements our previous results and completes the classification of D-branes
in the type IIB string theory on the AdS_5 x S^5.Comment: 11 pages, no figures, LaTe
Geometry of the Nonabelian DBI Dyonic Instanton
We introduce a calculus of the Lie algebra valued functions present in
Tseytlin's proposal for the nonabelian DBI action, and apply it to show that
the recently found dyonic instanton is a solution of the full nonabelian DBI
action. The geometry of this solution exhibits a new effect of ``blowing-up''
of the brane, which was not present in the case of the brane realisation of
monopoles. We interpret this solution as the superposition of the D0 brane and
fundamental string F1 which connects two separated D4 branes. Both F1 and D0
are delocalised in the ``blown-up'' region between two separated D4 branes.Comment: 14 pages, 3 figures; v2: minor changes and added reference
Dirichlet Branes of the Covariant Open Supermembrane in AdS_4 x S^7 and AdS_7 x S^4
We discuss an open supermembrane theory in the AdS_4 x S^7 and AdS_7 x S^4
backgrounds. The possible Dirichlet branes of an open supermembrane are
classified by analyzing the covariant Wess-Zumino term. All of the allowed
configurations are related to those on the pp-wave background via the Penrose
limit.Comment: 16 pages, LaTeX, some clarifications and references adde

osp(1|32) and Extensions of super-AdS_5 X S^5 algebra
The super-AdS_5 X S^5 and the four-dimensional N=4 superconformal algebras
play important roles in superstring theories. It is often discussed the roles
of the osp(1|32) algebra as a maximal extension of the superalgebras in flat
background. In this paper we show that the su(2,2|4), the super-AdS_5 X S^5
algebra or the superconformal algebra, is not a restriction of the osp(1|32)
though the bosonic part of the former is a subgroup of the latter. There exist
only two types of u(1) extension of the super-AdS_5 X S^5 algebra if the
bosonic AdS_5 X S^5 covariance is imposed. Possible significance of the results
is also discussed briefly.Comment: 20 pages, LaTeX, references adde
Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Sejarah dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Aspek Psikomotorik Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kaliwungu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017
Self Running Droplet: Emergence of Regular Motion from Nonequilibrium Noise
Spontaneous motion of an oil droplet driven by chemical nonequilibricity is
reported. It is shown that the droplet undergoes regular rhythmic motion under
appropriately designed boundary conditions, whereas it exhibits random motion
in an isotropic environment. This study is a novel manifestation on the direct
energy transformation of chemical energy into regular spatial-motion under
isothermal conditions. A simple mathematical equation including noise
reproduces the essential feature of the transition from irregularity into
periodic regular motion. Our results will inspire the theoretical study on the
mechanism of molecular motors in living matter, working under significant
influence of thermal fluctuation.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
Dirichlet Branes of the Covariant Open Supermembrane on a PP-wave Background
We discuss an open supermembrane theory on the maximally supersymmetric
pp-wave background in eleven dimensions. The boundary surfaces of an open
supermembrane are studied by using the covariant supermembrane theory. In
particular, we find the configurations of M5-branes and 9-branes preserving a
half of supersymmetries at the origin.Comment: 17 pages, no figures, LaTeX2e, minor correction, references added.

p-branes on the waves
We present a large family of simple, explicit ten-dimensional supergravity
solutions describing extended extremal supersymmetric Ramond-Ramond p-branes
embedded into time-dependent dilaton-gravity plane waves of an arbitrary
(isotropic) profile, with the brane world-volume aligned parallel to the
propagation direction of the wave. Generalizations to the non-extremal case are
not analyzed explicitly, but can be pursued as indicated.Comment: 11 pages; v.2 minor notation changes, minor typos corrected
